EDWARD COOK A gloom was cast over the community of North Range on Monday night of last week when it became known that one of its most highly respected elder citizens Edward COOK -had passed away.Left to mourn his passing ,besides his widow,are hi s daughter Libby and son Lewis both at home ;three sisters Mrs Kinnie OLIVER, Gilbert's Cove; Mrs Bessie BERRY, Bear River;Mrs Eva CORKUM ,Berwick and two brothers Aug. COOK and Bruce COOK both of North Range.The funeral services were held from hi s late home on Wednesday afternoon and were conducted by his pastor, Rev. F. E. ROOP of the Baptist Church assisted by Rev. C. U. MACNEVIN of the United church. Interment in the Baptist Cemetery
