Also, name McFarlane is also seen as McFarland and MacFarlane, depending on source. PERHAPS so n of Aldin/Alden McFarland, 1852-1923, who married Martha M., and are buried in North Head Cemetery, Grand Manan, Charlotte Co, NB. Aldin/Alden may, in turn, have been son of Deacon James McFarland, b. 14-Sep-1819, d. 14-Jan-1881, buried sam e as Aldin/Alden and Martha. For that matter, Alden and Martha had a son, Austin, living with them in 1911 Census for North Head, he was still single in 1911, b. May-1874, so perhaps he married shortly thereafter? Making him a more like prospect , as Alden and Martha already in their 50s by 1911. Only record found in PANB on Austin (if it's same) is one of a death in Charlotte County, for Austin E. McFarland, 27-May-1920. His cemetery record indicates a year of birth of 1877, and deat h of 1920, showing he was husband to Harriet (who died aged 72, but no listing of YOB or YOD). SO, he obviously married after 1911. If he married shortly thereafter, then had a son, that son could have been Wellington... (I know, a small stretch , but a plausible one).
