Notes: Depending on source, Clara died shortly after "Sumner" was born, or not. Some list her as mother of the later children, as well. I will leave all the children under Clara, but believe at least Hannah and Jennie were likely born to Eleanor. Accord ing to Census records, one would have to presume Eleanor was first wife and Clara, second, and what a mess this is turning out to be. Albert appears in 1860 US Census for Merrimack, NH: aged 27, a farmer, married to "Elener" M., age 29 children: Mary M., age 3 and James A., age one month. By 1870, family looks like: Albert, age 37 "Ellen" M., age 39 James A, 10 Hattie ?G?, 6 Arthur ?H? 4 1900 US Census offers some interesting possibilties, as we now see Clara as his wife, with no children of "first marriage". Junkins, Albert A (H?), head, w, m, Nov-1832, 67, M-19, NH, ME, NH, farmer ", Clara P., wife, w, f, May-1857, 48, M-19, 5/5, NH, NH, MA ", Ernest, ?W?, son, w, m, Jul-1883, 17, S, NH, NH, MA, farm laborer ", Clare B., SON!!, Apr-1884, 16, S, NH, NH, MA ", Morris S, son, w, m, Jan-1886, 14, S, NH, NH, MA ", Hannah M., dau, w, f, Jan-1890, 10, S, NH, NH, MA ", Jennie E., dau, w, f, Feb-1894, 6, S, NH, NH, MA
Notes: Suspect that, based on 1860 US Census, Eleanor and Albert were married first, and WELL BEFORE 1886!! Oddly, the only marriage record found, so far, shows a marriage date of 19-May-1866, at Lowell, MA. If this IS the correct marriage, suspect date to be off by 10 years...typo??
