Found a POSSIBLE birth record in online search of NB Archives, showing a date of birth of Edouard Roy, as 15-Oct-1889, at St. Marys, Kent, with parents listed as Cyril Roy and Genevieve Bastrasch. Nothing, as yet (Sep-2003) to confirm this is th e same Edward. Based on same source, it would appear this same Edouard Roy married 30-Aug-1915 to Mathilda LeBlanc in Kent County. On son, Joseph's (Eric's) birth certificate, Edouar/Edouard is listed as a ?ayaillant-Ouvrier. Need to research , but suspect the "ouvrier" means "opener".
