Notes: Was it THIS Jacob, or possibly a namesake who was christened at Gagetown Anglican, 11-Sep-1795, son of Gilbert and "Darkis"? I suspect it to be this Jacob, but may have been one born before who died young.
According to Greenwood's Early Baptists of Cambridge Parish, Jacob was killed while helping in the construction of a mill on the brook "which crosses Merrit Elgee's farm." Later, his widow, "Ann" married Jonathan Titus, a widower at that time.
