It was either he or his 20 years his senior namesake who was a teacher in Queens County (See "In Duty Bound"), Said to have been of good moral character. As a trustee for the parish of Waterborough in his later years, he supported several petitio ns for individuals to receive licenses to teach. He surely taught in Waterborough from 1826-1829
