Notes: Daniel and Lucy Sparks, MAY be the following couple:
Daniel Sparks and Lucy Allen, married 17-Feb-1787 at Frankly Manor, Maccan area township in Cumbreland County, Nova Scotia (p. 6 of Township book). Daniel who married Lucy Allen is purportedly son of a Robert Sparks, and his wife, Joanna.
Of concern is the fact that they were of Nova Scotia. Not unheard of for NS to NB moves, but of concern.
Yet another source lists wife of Danile as Lucy Lenoir, and listed as parents of Francoise Sparks.

Sparks/Allen 1787 Daniel Sparks, son of Robert and Joanna Sparks of Franklin Manor, Cumb. Co. and Lucy Allen, daughter of John and Judith Allen of Halifax, Nova Scotia, were married February 17th 1787.

Mother of Daniel and Robert (if they ARE brothers) may be the Mrs. Sparks who was buried 28-Mar-1810 at Gagetown, New Brunswick (listed in Anglican Church records).

My GUESS is, that the following children are all children of Daniel and Lucy. SURELY the Gagetown Baptismal records indicate Daniel and Lucy for only the one son, Daniel. However, believe the following children are also of this family. Danie l is listed as their father, but no mother on transcription of records:

Margaret Anne Sparks b. 2-Aug-1795 (is THIS the Ann Sparks who married George Tippet at Sheffield, Sunbury Co, NB, on 31-Jul-1817?
Robert Sparks, b. 16-Apr-1816
Mary Sparks, b. 04-Nov-1819
Lucy Jane Sparks, b. 08-Oct-1807
James Sparks, b. 04-Mar-1809

There is also a listing of a child of a Daniel and Hannah Sparks, named Judah, b. 6-Dec-1815. Since Judah was also baptized in 1816, could it be the five other children listed for Daniel with NO spouse, be children of Hannah? Could Daniel hav e married twice, and older children were born to Lucy and younger children to Hannah???

LDS IGI lists Daniel, b. @1769, NB, marrying Hannah ? @1809, NB.
Same source, same Daniel (b. @1769) shown w/ marriage date to Lucy as @1794
Same source lists Robert Sparks, b. 16-Apr-1810 as son of Daniel and Hannah.
Seems this is the same source listing month of May for marriage of Margaret Hanselpecker and Robert Sparks.

What's VERY odd, is that all these children are listed as baptized in 1816. IF that is accurate, the birth year of 1819 on Mary seems rather tough to swallow. Could 1819 have been misread, and truly be 1814??
