Notes: 1944 date comes from CV1 manuscript. Previously had 1947, but as that is the birthyear of sister Belva, it is more likely someone confused the two sisters, OR, thought one was a misspelling of the other?

Beulah Mae Christiansen
July 8, 1944 - June 29, 2006
Beulah was born in Digby, N.S., July 8, 1944 and bravely passed from this life June 29, 2006 in Rosswood B.C. She was predeceased by her parents Loran and Hilda Handspiker, brother Clyde, sister Helen Morton and brother-in-law James (Bud) Morton . Left to mourn are her loving husband of 47 years Eli Christiansen, daughter Carolyn, son Alan (Sherelyn); sisters Louise Morton, Belva (Ron) Snider; brother-in-law Don Morton; grandchildren Kelsey Lockhart (Gerry), Erin Lockhart (Justin), Myle s and Britt Anderson, Lucas Dodge, Samuel and Jared Christiansen; great-grandaughter Brooke-Aiesha Therrien and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Beulah was a wonderful woman devoted to her family, strong and compassionate, who enjoyed life des pite a life-long battle with diabetes. She was a woman of simple pleasures - walks with the Rosswood ladies, visits with her sisters, cooking for her family, good books and writing and receiving a good long letter. Her memory lives within eac h of us and she touched the lives of everyone she knew. She had a deep sense of fairness, was fiercely loyal and staunch in her beliefs. We know she is in a better place and is watching over our lives, shaking her head in disbelief over mistake s made and rejoicing in our triumphs. “Gramma’s up in Heaven, way up higher than the clouds - can we drive there?” Brooke - 4 1/2 Sorrowfully missed and deeply loved. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association , Canadian Cancer Society or C.N.I.B
