Mrs. Herbert Clark
Stellarton- Mrs. Herbert Clark, the former(Viola Macleod) Bridge Ave.,
died at the Aberdeen Hospital Thursday.
She was born in Afton, 72 years ago, a daughter of the late William and
Jessie (Hanspiker) MacLeod.
Previous to her marriage she had lived in Thorburn but had resided here
nearly all her married life.
She was a member of Christ Anglican Church, the Anglican Church Women and
Southern Cross Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Erma (Mrs. Ray Scott),
Stellarton; Florence Doreen (Mrs. Ray Langille), Toronto; four sons, Alvin,
Bill, Toronto; Herbert Jr., Stellarton; Thomas, Blue Mountain; 27
grandchiildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Georgie (Mrs. Nelson
Wilson), Greenwood, Pictou County.
The remains will rest at the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home after 7 o'clock
this evening.
The funeral will be held on Monday morning at eleven o'clock from Christ
Anglican Church with interment in the church cemetery.
