- Name: John McIntosh
- Birth: Abt 1792 in: Nova Scotia, Canada?
- Death: 1872 in: Digby County, Nova Scotia, Canada
- Father:
- Mother:
Notes:
John and Charlotte had a son named Adolphus. One of that name emigrated from Scotland to PEI between 1795 and 1824. Could John have been son of this Adolphus? Or, was it a more common given name, back in that time?
According to 1838 Digby Census, John was a shoemaker.
- Married: 30-AUG-1822 in: Trinity Anglican Church, Digby, Digby County, Nova Scotia, Canada
- Name: Charlotte Handspiker
- Birth: Abt 1796 in: Clements, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, Canada
- Death: 1868 in: Digby County, Nova Scotia, Canada
- Father: Conrad (Coenradt) Enoch Handlespiker
- Mother: Anna
Notes:
Children are listed as born between 1820 and 1839, yet the marriage date is listed as 1822. There is another source which claims Charlotte married a John McGinney, as well. Perhaps first child was born to this other John???
In Trinity Anglican records, she was listed being born in "Clemens". I suspect, Clements, but this may also be one of those obscure references that hold little meaning.
