Ensley (Ainsley?) - Son b. 12-Apr-1880
Agnes - 22/29-May-1890 **** (This is WAY off for "Mary Agnes", but she would likely be the only match)
Watson - Son - b. 25-May-1893 (Not Charles' son, but born to Alice J. by Mr. Peverill.)
Mimmie or Minnie - Dau. - b. 12-Oct-1896
Perhaps even Watson was born by 2nd wife?
In 1881 Census, married to Margaret, children all had some sort of fever at time of Census. In LDS transcription, the name appears as "Handspiter". Yet another misspelling! Here's the group in 1881, in Digby Town, Digby, Nova Scotia:

Notes: Alice has two birth years, depending on source. She's either born 17-Mar-1860, or, 16-Mar-1857. Though, in yet another source, the 17-Mar-1860 date is referenced as Charles' and her marriage date. That COULD be possible (1860, anyway), but woul d surely negate an 1857 birth date!! Also, Alice is suspected of being the mother of Watson Chipman Handspiker. She has also been seen listed as "Jean" in informal documents. In 1911 Census, Alice's date of birth jumps once again, this tim e to Mar-1862. She was listed as a widow in 1911, with one son, Ernest, having been born in May of that year. Since Charles died in 1906, to what Handspiker were Lyman and Ernest born? OR, were they given their surname from their mother's maide n name, not a married name? I will list these two children with father as "Mr. UNKNOWN" until something further is uncovered.
