STARK, Robert Lovett Sr. - 81, Digby, passed away July 30, 2004, at home. Born
in Digby, he was a son of the late Emdon and Gladys (Trimper) Stark. Robert
enjoyed music and hunting. He loved his work as a fish cutter. Robert was a
member of the Digby Baptist Church. He was a loving father and husband.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Dorothea; daughters, Louise Beland, Linda
Connelly, both of Digby; Debra (Alvin) Carty, Centreville; Faye (Randy) Van
Tassel, Hill Grove; Darlene (Paul) Weir, Lansdowne; sons, Robert (Cheryl) Stark
Jr., Rodney (Sheri) Stark, both of South Range; sisters, Violet Forrest, Mount
Pleasant; Ruth Smith, Digby; Goldie Marshall, Bridgetown; brother, Emdon,
Culloden; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by his infant daughter, Chrystal Dawn; sisters, Laura Cook,
Florence Murphy, Elsie Handspiker. Visitation today from 7-9 p.m. and Monday
from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby. Funeral
service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Digby Baptist Church. Interment in Bayview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
Nova Scotia or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
