"Leverett Morton Taylor, 95, of Lawrencetown, died Tuesday in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in West Arlington, Annapolis County, he was a son of the late John and Sarah (Marshall) Taylor. He was a retired farmer and served with th e 85th Battalion during the First World War. Surviving are four daughters, Lizzie (Mrs Thomas Ring), Beaconsfield; Goldie (Mrs James Milton), Sackville; Hattie, Lawrencetown; Evelyn (Mrs Merritt Zwicker), Bridgetown; four sons, Ernest, Kenneth an d Ralph, all of Lawrencetown; Edward, Bridgetown; two brothers, John, Paradise; Edward, United States; a sister Mrs Udaville Hill, Hampton; 44 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wi fe, the former Eliza Mary Sabean, two daughters, Margaret and Stella. Funeral service was held in Lawrencetown United Baptist Church, Rev Byron Corkum officiating, assisted by Dr George P Allen. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown."
